Opening a young coconut has never been this easy!  Pop the stem off of the green coconut and push the tip of the opener all the way into the center of the coconut.  Then twist the tool around 180 degrees. Slightly slant the opener and pull it out of the coconut.  This will remove a cork like part of the coconut shell and leave a hole for drinking and pouring. No knives, drills, rocks or machetes are needed! When it comes to opening young coconuts this has been the go to tool for the coconut guys & girls on the islands!
